The Agder European Office aims to contribute to the development of an attractive region characterised by high quality of life, low emissions, excellent research, strong innovation capacity, and robust resilience

The office will support businesses, research and educational institutions, the public sector, and civil society in the region in taking advantage of opportunities in European cooperation and funding schemes, and safeguard the region’s interests in Europe – preferably within the framework of the EU/EEA.

Agder European Office was established 18.03.2024 and is a membership-based association. Today, the office has the following members: The municipalities of Kristiansand, Arendal, and Grimstad, the county municipality of Agder, the University of Agder, and the research institute NORCE.
